Bio

Bill Quatman, FAIA, Esq. is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Burns & McDonnell, one of the 25 largest design firms in the U.S., based in Kansas City, Missouri. Bill is a past president of AIA/Missouri and was a former chair of the AIA national Design-Build Knowledge Community.

Bill is the 2015 Vice Chair of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and was a founding member of The Jefferson Society, a non-profit organization of architect-lawyers with over 100 members nationwide.

Bill has authored several books on design-build, and in 2015 wrote "A Young General and the Fall of Richmond," a civil war biography that details the final days of the American civil war.
