Tom Clark, FAIA, EDAC, is a founding Principal of Clark/Kjos Architects, LLC, with a focus on design and planning. His designs have received numerous national and regional design awards from The American Institute of Architects, Modern Healthcare, Healthcare Design, ASHE, HUD, Solient Health, IIDA, ASID, and Oregon Governor’s Award. His work has been featured in many national publications, including 5 books, and Modern Healthcare, Healthcare Design, Contract, Health Facilities Management, Medical Construction and Design. He is 2017 President of the American Institute of Architects’ Academy of Architecture for Health, and Past Chair of the Architecture for Health Panel. Tom has taught in university design studios at University of Oregon, University of Washington, Oregon School of Design, Portland State University and Washington State University.
