Bio

I am a licensed architect and a graduate from the University of Kansas School of Architecture, Design & Planning, where I obtained a Masters Degree in Architecture with Highest Honors. I have also had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad, where I studied Architecture & Design.

Currently, I am the Principal and Co-Founder of Clarkitecture, a business-minded architecture & design firm based in Wichita, Kansas. We design “buildings that mean business”—commercial/mixed use development and corporate projects that bring value to our clients.

My previous professional experience includes three years with SJCF Architecture in Wichita, Kansas. My teams helped our clients realize their vision. We designed the new Wichita Children's Home campus, the new Wichita Southeast High School, YMCA sport centers, and renovations of Wichita Country Club, Wichita North High School and a Cox Communications office/storage facility in Arkansas.

I also experienced three years with Burns & McDonnell's Global Facilities and Aviation & Facilities divisions in Kansas City, Missouri. During my tenure, I was part of a wide variety of projects, including foreign government offices, military training and housing facilities, children's camp facilities, aircraft hangars, hotels, and high-rise apartment buildings.

Prior to Burns & McDonnell, I was an intern architect with Matocha Associates outside Chicago, Illinois.
