Having worked with some of the world’s most esteemed architectural firms such as Kohn Pedersen Fox, Perkins Eastman, and FX Fowle, as well as multi-billion dollar construction companies such as Shapoorji Pallonji International, Miller’s extensive experience enabled him to identify the key areas of growth across the design and construction market as well as receiving the esteemed accolade of Fellow in the AIA.

ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING: programming, project administration, conceptual design, design review, consultant coordinating and administration, construction administration for every form of residential projects from single family to high rise, mixed use, affordable to luxury, hotels and resorts, and urban design.

MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST: planner, designer, and implementor of steel modular volumentric systems and other unique polystyrene forming systems for most building uses. Specializing in hotel, student accommodations, assisted living, and most forms of multilevel housing.

HOTEL PLANNER AND DESIGNER: Recognized by Hyatt, Hilton, Starwood, and other hotel management companies as a planning specialist for 3-4-5 star hotels worldwide. Completed hotels for these brands as well as RF hotels, Kempinski, Ritz Carlton, and Mandarin Oriental.

REAL ESTATE: Administrator, business development and marketing, design management, project management, sales and leasing. SWM has a deep understanding of the elements that make a successful projects.

AIA: 2016-2018 Strategic Council member, Chairman and member of the Honorary Fellows jury for two years, past International Fellows representative to the College of Fellows, past President of the European Chapter of the AIA, Founder of the Middle East Chapter of the AIA, Past President of the International Advisory Committee to the AIA, and a Founder of the International Regional organization of the AIA.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES: Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami Graduate School of Architecture, lecturer and architectural critic at University of Rome (historical and sustainable adaptive re-use of structures), Charles University, Prague (contemporary design in a historical context), Cornell University (hotel and resort development, planning and design), Colorado University (leisure design using existing unique land opportunities), and Wisconsin University (design/development relationships).

SPEAKER and PUBLISHED ARTICLES: Contributor to the MEED organization based in Dubai and London. 7+ years guest speaker across the Middle East and North Africa on subjects related to real estate development, planning and architecture, urban planning, hotel design, contracting concerns, systems design and build, sustainability, and social issues related to affordable housing. Published multiple times in all of the Middle East development, design and construction magazines on similar subjects and issues. +As MD of PDC, Miller established and was the Managing Director for this firm for five years based in Dubai.
+Created a design and project management office with 20 professionals and supported by up to 75 professionals in New York. Helped the firm manage through the financial crisis of 2008-2010.
+Completed urban planning schemes, commercial, residential, hotel, and mixed use buildings in India, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. In Riyadh at King Abdulla Financial District we designed over 13 buildings including mixed use towers, mosque, and a museum and selected with the client and his contractor 11 other international architects to complete the master plan.
+We won three major bridge competitions for design projects in Doha and Dubai.
