A trained architect, Gregg Brodarick has split his time living, studying and working in Italy and the USA for over 25 years, an experience that has been fundamental in his formation as an architect and designer. Brodarick received a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of Kentucky (USA) in 1992 and a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University (Florence, Italy Campus) in 1998.
Brodarick has extensive project experience in retail, industrial, residential, restoration and interior design, as well as product design and business development. He is partner of the multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering consulting firm Solids (Milan) as well as the international design and distribution company Brodarick Design, which produces a series of Made in Italy handcrafted products. 2014 marked the launch of the luxury Calma e Gesso brand for Brodarick Design; the inaugural product, the crystal-glass billiard Filotto, is showcased as part of the interior design of the Ralph Lauren Flagship store on Madison Avenue.
Brodarick's other noteworthy accomplishments include the creation of the Teckell brand as CEO of the design firm B.lab Italia, and being elected chapter president of the European chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Europe), in 2011, of which he is still an active member. Most recently, he has founded the architecture education platform Isplora, continuing to spread his passion for the best in contemporary Italian architecture through professionally accredited video documentary lessons.
