Bio
A multi-licensed architect who developed her skills through learning by doing.
With nearly 20 years of extensive global experience in the architecture and design industry, she effectively held diversified responsibilities as Principal, Project Architect, Project Manager, and Project Designer, for clients that included several of the Fortune 500 companies in North America as well as Asia and Europe. Managed, directed, and designed projects with construction budgets from $250,000 to $450 Million USD, they resulted in high-performance buildings and awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certifications.
Successfully completed rigorous academic architecture programs, she graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, with high honors earning a 3.7 GPA equivalent, from the University of Santo Tomas.
She is also a certified Electronic Marketing Professional earning her credential via a third-party Marketing certification called CeMA. She demonstrated her competency and leadership in electronic marketing in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industries that contributed to winning Curbed’s Hottest Architect online contest in 2011, successfully funded a project supported by online micro-funders in Kickstarter, and authored 2 of the Most Read posts in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) KnowledgeNet Blog.
A multi-awarded architect, she is Engineering News Record's Top 20 Under 40 in the Midwest for 2012, National Geographic and The Aspen Institute’s Environment Forum Scholar for 2010, the American Institute of Architects’ AIA Athena Young Professional Award recipient, Tile of Spain’s Reign In Spain competition winner, i4Design Magazine’s 2011 Suite 16 Top Picks, and the 2011 AIA Knowledge Scholar on Practice Management.
