After completing extensive research and the requisite travel to discover relevant key sites, my husband, architect Norman Tyler, and I have completed and self-published a book on the Greek Revival style of architecture, titled "Greek Revival in America: Tracing its architectural roots to ancient Athens." The book is available from Amazon.com for about $21.00 using this link:

The book is an academic study of the history of the style, beginning with our high style tetra-column Ionic house in Ann Arbor, Michigan (the Judge Robert S. Wilson house), exploring comparable structures in Michigan and New York State, looking at pattern books that took us eventually to London, and finally to the source in Athens, Greece. In our stories we reveal the inspiration and rationale for this classic and timeless style of architecture.
