CAE Spring Conference : Place + Pedagogy

Starts:  May 17, 2017 04:00 PM (PT)
Ends:  May 20, 2017 12:00 PM (PT)

Place + Pedagogy: How the unique character of the region and people are shaping modern educational architecture

Join us as we discover the issues influencing the environments for teaching and learning through the lens of the Pacific Northwest. This conference will begin with tours of architectural works that respond to the qualities that make the Pacific Northwest unique.

We will also explore how early childhood to higher education spaces connect the pedagogy of learning and regionalism to influence educational architecture. The conference will culminate in an interactive experience of ‘maker’ culture, as we join together in an immersive hands-on workshop.
