Hello all! I am looking to ask architects in the AIA community a few different questions regarding when they started as an architect, how they progressed, and about their company. These questions are for my Technical Writing for Professional's class, and I hope to get some great feedback! Thank you so much for your help!!
- What kind of projects were you doing when you first started as an architect?
- At what point did you see the company you work/ed for trusting you with more responsibilities in the company?
- How many projects can you expect to be working on at once?
- How often did/do you work in a team?
- How important is an innovative mind to the company?
- What key things do they look for in new hires?
- Is it appropriate to request a raise if you feel you have excelled/did good on a project?
- How important is diversity to your company?
- How big of a role does HR play in your company?
- Would you say Architecture is a field for everyone?
- What is the best asset in your company? (eg: employees?)
- Describe your best employee in one word
- What is your vacation policy? (Studies on companies with no-question vacation policy show more productive/happier employees)
- What style architecture do you love most?
- If you could have a company like Google (with its employee culture) would you?
