  • 1.  Restoration of metal casement windows

    Colleagues-

    We are undertaking facade restoration in a 1926 apartment building in Washington, DC.  There are two window openings with original Hope's metal casement windows.  We are looking for a specialty contractor to evaluate, price, and repair the windows.  Does anyone know any candidates for this task in our area?

    There was a great article on restoring metal windows in the January 2015 issue of 'Period Homes' magazine, p. 14-17. You might be able to search it online if you don't already get the magazine.
