    Everyone,

Here's a reminder that the CRAN Symposium is just ONE MONTH away! Many of you might have received this news via email as well, but if you don't yet have hotel reservations:

Our block of rooms at the Depot is full. Don't despair. Our wonderful AIA team recommends you call the Aloft, a hotel nearby to the Depot (approximately 3 blocks). Call 877-go-aloft and ask for the AIA CRAN block. Rate is $149/night plus tax. Rooms are limited, so please call as soon as possible.

I lived in the Twin Cities for years and can tell you that the walk from Aloft to the Depot is fantastic. The quickest route is along Washington ave. But if you detour you can walk along the Mississippi River or go along 2nd past tons of award winning architecture, including: The Guthrie Theater, the Mill City Museum, and the MacPhail Center For Music. Oh and via Washington there are some cool views of the new Vikings Stadium (if that interests you).
