    This event will provide you with extensive background on working in foreign countries and what resources are available to help you succeed. The Gulf States, Brazil, and India will serve as catalysts for discussion, as they offer a myriad of opportunities to expand your business and provide interesting lessons that are applicable to all international work.

     

    Meet local experts who can provide assistance to your practice, network with fellow architects who share your interest in international markets, and learn about resources the U.S. government provides to help you succeed. Speakers will include Art Chavez, AIA, LEED AP, Senior Principal, Page; Chris Hudson, AIA, President, MORRIS; Matt Baker and Richard Ryan, U.S. Department of Commerce; and Tim Jeffcoat, U.S. Small Business Administration. The workshop will be held from 8:30am-12:00pm at AIA Houston, 315 Capitol St, Suite 120, Houston, Texas 77002.
