Charles,
I do not think the comment about freehand tracing was called for. That might work for a small plan, but when you are doing a large project like a 20,000 square foot house, drawing on trace is not the best option, and the undo command if you make a mistake is non existent. And if you are proposing multiple options, the time involved can be significant to trace everything. I appreciated the question and am interested in using the advice being given to give my plans a more hand drawn appearance when appropriate, with the speed and flexibility of the computer. I will look forward to more advice on the subject.
And if I was one of the owners of your business, I would not appreciate an employee of mine making fun of another professional with a legitimate question about an efficient and fast solution to a problem that many of us have. Not everyone is blessed with wonderful hand drawing skills, nor do we have the time to do it that way. And I doubt that clients will want to pay for the extra time it would take to perform a manual task such as that if a computer could do it in a few clicks.
I hope that we will continue to receive advice on the subject from others who have found ways to provide a hand drawn appearance to CAD drawings.

Subject: A software program that will turn ACAD lines into wavy line work for presentations.
Try the "napkin" command in AutoCad. This creates a block overlay which does not effect your original drawing. Selection options plus degrees of waviness.
