The U.S Department of Commerce, the International Trade Administration and the American Institute of Architects are excited to lead the first Architecture Services Trade Mission to Brazil on October 6 to 10, 2013. The purpose of the mission is to introduce U.S. firms to the rapidly growing Brazilian market. With the country entering the global limelight in preparation for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games, there is exceptional demand for projects. The mission will target sectors with high potential for U.S. exporters: master planning including regional design and city planning, and port re-development; hospitals and related health care facilities; airports and other transportation infrastructure; mixed-use projects; and a wide range of education institutions.
The mission will visit Rio de Janeiro and Recife, where participants will have market briefings, meetings with government and industry officials, matchmaking meetings, and other opportunities for networking. These opportunities will afford participants market exposure and access to key decision makers in both the private and public sectors.
For more information, please refer to our mission webpage. Recruitment for this mission has started and will conclude no later than August 9, 2013. For an application are available here.
