Bio

Formed Gangi Architects as a division of Gangi Development in 1990, and is currently Vice President, Chief of Design. Internship served under the direction of Panos Koulermos FAIA. Worked on project team in Studio Koulermos and was involved in many projects ranging from Europe to Asia. Exhibitions of the Studio’s work in New York at Cooper Union, and Venice, Italy at the Masieri Foundation. Worked on design team for the Venice Biennale in Venice, Italy. Worked on two Architecture Books: 20th Century European Rationalism and Panos Koulermos, Architect. Recently involved in Panos Koulermos - the Complete Works by the Academy of Architecture, Switzerland. Personally designed over 50 projects ranging from Urban Design of Mixed - Use Main Streets and Town Squares to complex technical production of Environmental Analytical Laboratories. Recently completed construction of the Museum of Water + Life, with Michael Lehrer FAIA, which is a 17 acre museum campus with two museum facilities, museum store, museum cafe, research facility, and conference center. Project is Design + Build and is performed under a joint venture partnership, Lehrer Gangi Design + Build. Focus of project is Sustainability Research and Education. The Museum of Water + Life has been rated LEED Platinum – the highest rating possible under the LEED rating system. Consulting Architect for Moule + Polyzoides, Architects and Urbanists – Design Team member for Uptown Whittier Specific Plan Charette, Design Team member for Sarasota Florida Specific Plan Charette. Architect of Burbank Classical Arts Center - Performing Arts / Dance / Music / Radio Station / Mixed Use Facility in Downtown Burbank. Adjunct Professor University of Southern California School of Architecture from Fall 2006 - 2009
