an Associate Director Designate of AIA San Francisco. As a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, I am currently a designer at WRNS Studio, as well as the Chair of Bay Area Young Architects, the Emerging Professionals Committee of AIASF. This EPC is one of the largest in the AIA as we provide multiple networking opportunities and exposure to the various types of architectural firms located in San Francisco.
I am interested in attending the CAE Spring conference in Barcelona, Spain to expand my knowledge within the architectural profession. Traveling across the world to this structurally enriched environment, I hope to gain a greater understanding of Spain’s culture, art, and history of design. This is, without a doubt, a remarkable education opportunity. While attending UC Berkeley’s Architecture program, my professor and classmates pushed me to raise my own questions and stretch my limits when finding answers, fortifying my curiosity for architecture. In addition, I also attended Harvard’s Summer Discovery Program for Landscape Architecture. I am, and will always be, an avid learner and student. In attending this amazing AIA event in Barcelona, I believe the collaborative space and valuable education will increase my wealth of knowledge immensely. This conference will enable me to further grow as a designer and deepen my architecture ties on a global level.
