Bio

Mr. Davis is an architect with over 25 years of experience as a design architect, technical lead, project manager, design manager and planner on projects for educational, government, law enforcement, recreation, office and residential clients. He recently founded Public Design Architects LLC (PDA) to deliver high-value architecture and related consulting services to public facilities clients, with a focus that includes the design of civic/secure facilities, K-12 traditional and charter public schools, disaster management consulting, sustainable design, and the urban design relationships between individual structures and their context. He has been visiting faculty in urban design and architecture at Notre Dame and IIT and has researched, lectured and published scholarly works on the Prairie School architect Dwight Perkins. Mr. Davis is on the Board of Directors of the Chicago and Illinois chapters of the American Institute of Architects and is also a local elected official in Oak Park, Illinois.
