Bio

Daryl Bray, AIA, LEED AP – Daryl is a Principal and Chief Operating Officer at SGA Design Group. Daryl graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and joined SGA in 1998. He has been actively involved with AIA, serving as President of the Eastern Oklahoma Chapter in 2011. From 2003-2009 he was Oklahoma’s IDP State Coordinator. During this period, Daryl founded Oklahoma’s Intern Friendly Firm Initiative and Mentoring Network. In 2007 and 2008, Daryl worked with AIA CSR on the Emerging Professionals Task Force. Daryl was recognized by AIA Oklahoma with the first Young Professional Achievement Award in 2010. He was selected as a member of NCARB’s Committee on IDP in 2009 and 2010 and is currently in his second year on NCARB’s Broadly Experienced Architect Committee. He is also a past and current member of several other work groups with NCARB, including the 2012 Practice Analysis Task Force. Daryl is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a LEED Accredited Professional, NCARB certified, an ICC Certified Accessibility Inspector/Plan Examiner and is a licensed architect in 21 different states.
