Bio

My name is Chris Hirai and I am an emerging professional working towards licensure in California. I was born and raised in Sacramento where I attended Jesuit High School (Class of 2002). I then attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (Classof 2007) where I earned a Bachelor's of Architecture with a minor in Sustainable Environments.

After graduation I returned home to Sacramento where I began working for Nacht & Lewis Architects. Since starting in August 2007 I have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including hospitals, schools, and justice facilities. My primary area of involvement has been in the area of courts and correctional facilities with a bulk of experience working on a number of CDCR (California Department of Corrections) projects.

Affiliations

I enjoy volunteering and giving back to the community. I coach youth soccer and help to lead a design workshop at a local high school.
