AIA Florida is conducting a month long contest to determine the top 100 buildings as part of our 100th year celebration.  The Front Page article in the Orlando Sentinel ask this question:  

Orlando's most outstanding architecture? A fake castle is your winner!

If buildings define a place, then Cinderella Castle and a few government buildings pretty much brand theOrlando area.

Walt Disney World's iconic fairy-tale landmark and a few institutional buildings are the best that Orlando has to offer architecturally, according to a statewide competition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects.
