Good afternoon:
This is a friendly reminder that TOMORROW, Thursday, May 19, the AIA Government Relations team will be holding its monthly advocacy briefing, open to all AIA members, at 4 PM ET. This month, we will focus on our discussion on the Small Business Administrati s (SBA) size standards proposal, including what it is, what the AIA is doing, and what it means for you. We hope you will join us to express your thoughts and opinions, and learn more about what you can do to make your voice heard.
The purpose of this briefing is to update AIA leaders on the AIA's advocacy initiatives and to let you know how you can get involved and spread the word to your fellow members. The briefing includes a powerpoint presentation online in conjunction with the conference call (details below).
This month, in addition to discussing the SBA size standards, we will provide an update on some key legislation in Washington, a report on ArchiPAC, and provide the opportunity for any AIA member to share their success stories, struggles, etc. in the advocacy arena at the local and state level. There is a lot to talk about, and we hope you can join us.
