Justice Facilities Review Archive Posted

The JFR documents best practices in planning and design for Justice Architecture. Functionality and community impact, sustainability and economic feasibility, as well as aesthetic achievements are essential elements for identifying the success of these projects.  Download the JFR books to view project profiles from 15 years of the review. This fall look for an announcement of the statistical database created by our Justice Knowledge scholar.

Profile: Clarice Sollog, Assoc. AIA Throughout college Clarice was an active member of her school’s AIAS Chapter. She joined the AIA as an associate member in January of 2007 recognizing the importance of the organization to the profession. As an active participant in her local Orlando Chapter she helped establish the Committee on Environment (COTE) and participated in the activities of the Young Architects Forum. Wanting to help strengthen the meaning of Associate AIA and do what she could to change the sometimes negative perception of that member class, she looked for a way to get involved in a leadership role. I tend to eat, drink, and sleep architecture, and whatever position I am in, so it has really been devastating.
