Subject: Are you a CEO of an American Firm doing work in Brazil? Opportunity to serve as a member of US Commerce's CEO Brazil Forum!
Message:

The US Department of Commerce is looking for members to apply to participate in the US-Brazil CEO forum. This forum allows participants to participate in ways to improve the business between Brazil and the US while also enhancing economic ties between the two countries. Thomas Vonier, FAIA, met with Commerce last February about the AIA participating and Commerce is looking for applications from you.

The Requirements:
An applicant must be a US citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States.  The applicant must be a CEO or President of a US owned or operated company which does business in both Brazil and the United States.

Applications are due to Lorrie Fussel at lorrie.fussel@trade.gov by November 4th! Please click http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2011-10-24/pdf/2011-27115.pdf for additional information on the requirements of the application.

Again, Commerce and the AIA would like to have representation at the Forum.  If you have an interest in Brazil and the US, then this may be the opportunity to influence both countries.

Thank you for the interest!  I know that we have interest pending in these applications.  Lorrie Fussell at lorrie.fussell@trade.gov is more than willing to discuss the program with you.

Good luck!

Jessica
