Please Comment on New LEED Draft!
One thing I've learned from reading over two years worth of comments on Real Life LEED is that everyone has an opinion when it comes to the nation's largest sustainable building's rating system!  At the same time, not everyone realizes that every time the LEED rating systems are updated (now happening on a two year cycle), there are substantial opportunities to comment on the new draft systems, and ultimately it's the membership who decides whether or not to vote in the new edition.  With that in mind, the new LEED draft rating systems that should be implemented in 2012 have been released, and I implore you all, whether you're a supporter or a critic, to take the time to read the new drafts and enter your comments!

Tristan Roberts over at LEEDuser has created a post that both analyzes key changes and provides links to download copies of the drafts themselves.

You may prefer to go straight to the source at the USGBC, where you'll find links to the drafts as well as links to the public comment pages.  While only USGBC members have the right to vote, both member and non-member companies are encouraged to comment.
