The Iraq Commercial Attaché has distributed the following opportunities for construction in Iraq. Please see the details of each and follow the instructions specific to that opportunity.
The Government of Iraq often prequalifies companies for specific and future projects by asking them to send a letter of interest. The Government of Iraq will review these letters and select companies for consideration for tenders.

1. Olympic Stadiums, Sports Halls & Swimming Pools: The Iraq Ministry of Youth and Sport/ Engineering and Technical Office has requested a list of good Construction Companies with previous experience in building Olympic stadiums, sports halls and swimming pools.
How to Be Considered: Interested companies should send the Iraq Commercial Attaché in Washington DC the following :1) an official letter indicated their interest to work in Iraq, information about Iraqi firms that are working with the U.S. firm should also be included in this letter, and 2) a list of their previous completed projects either in the USA or elsewhere.. The selected companies will be contacted directly by the Ministry of Youth and Sport. Companies should both email and mail both the indication of interest letter and a list of their past experience. Please cc Linda Le on your emails to the Iraq Commercial Attaché's office regarding this opportunity at linda.le@trade.gov

2. Dywania (Dur-Aliskan) Governorate: The Iraq Ministry of Construction And Housing / State Commission are requesting expressions of interest to build a residential complex in Dywania (Dur-Aliskan) Governorate. This is tender offer: 6/2012. The Iraq Ministry of Construction and Housing will use these letters of interest to prequalify companies to build in Dywania (Dur-Aliskan).
