Center for Health Design (CHD)
The Center for Health Design has, over the years, built up a large evidence-based design (EBD) reference library that links the physical design of healthcare settings with outcomes in acute care, residential care as well as ambulatory care settings. This library is the result of collaborating with scholars, design professionals and industry partners.
With support from The American Institute of Architects Academy of Architecture for Health, and The Academy of Architecture for Health Foundation, CHD is now able to offer an expanded reference library with over 2,500 articles. New easy-to-use features such as highlighting key points allow users the ability to easily and quickly review important concepts found in each article such as findings and design implications.
