“In collaboration with the HEALTHCARE DESIGN Conference and The Center for Health Design, Institute for Patient-Centered Design has launched a design competition to develop "The Patient Empowered Room." Design teams are invited to submit ideas for empowering patients through design strategies. The top three winning submissions will each receive one free registration to the 2012 HEALTHCARE DESIGN Conference in Phoenix, Arizona (November 3-6, 2012).
