Bryan Bell of Design Corps has been doing incredible work for years in the areas of Community Oriented Design, Design for the "Other 98%", Sustainable Design, among many other areas. Through events like Structures for Inclusion and the SEED Initiative, he has really pushed these ideas to a place that people are starting to recognize their power. In many ways, LEED and the Solar Decathlon are great programs that have galvanized thinking in areas of sustainable design that were never thought of before. However, they are only the beginning and Bryan's work and research, along with SEED specifically, are the next step.
