Bio

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, I started my practice in 1988 and currently have a six person firm in Barrington, RI. I grew up working construction sites carrying junk to the dumpster and graduated to framing, fine carpentry, bidding, running jobs, and furniture design/building at RISD. I continued with my education after graduation at Shope Reno Wharton in Greenwich, CT. From hammer to pencil, I am experienced in residential construction first and architecture second. It is this integration of artistic design with the building trades which has been the focus of Andreozzi Architects and eventually led to the next level of integrated design: in house design of stained glass, custom furniture, light fixtures, and even a clock design for the Howard Miller Clock Company. It is this insistence on total design with all team members working about one idea, for one purpose, the owner…that led to Zoophorus, a total and complete team…from owner to architect to every other single team member on a project. My work has been featured on seven HGTV programs on various regional and national magazines. Five of my houses were featured in the recently released shingle style book “Shingle Style Past & Present”, by Ashley Rooney with another two homes to be featured in her upcoming sequel, “Shingle Style in the 21st Century.” Commissions span from the shores of New England to the Bahamian Islands.
