Bio

Je'Nen M. Chastain, Assoc. AIA holds a unique background with experience in architectural design, business, and nonprofit executive management. Through a multitude of volunteer positions, Chastain has demonstrated her voice as an emerging leader in the profession of architecture. Her passion for leadership launched her career in 2009 as the 53rd national president of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS), where she served as the first female president of the organization in nearly a decade. She has also served on the national board of directors for the American Institute of Architects (AIA), as well as a diverse array of committees for both the AIAS and the AIA. Currently, Chastain is an A/E/C marketer, utilizing her diverse exposure to the industry to promote Kwan Henmi Architecture/Planning. She is a volunteer of the AIASF Mentorship Committee, and Vice Chair of the national AIA Center for Civic Leadership.
