Bio

Andy‘s responsibilities as Solutions Executive include evaluating architectural, engineering, construction and operations (AECO) business opportunities, defining technical solutions for project delivery and developing technology partnerships. He is a member of Bentley’s global account team to help practitioners identify their business needs and define practical solutions. Prior to this role he was a Director of Bentley Professional Services, a team that provides solution design, custom application development and implementation services.

Andy is a member of the buildingSMART alliance Board of Direction and Design-Build Institute of America BIM Committee. His 25+ years of professional experience practicing architecture and consulting have focused on using information technology to empower the AEC industry. Prior to joining Bentley he worked with the Atlanta firms of Heery International and Lord, Aeck & Sargent. He was recipient of the American Institute of Architects 2000 National Young Architect Award in recognition of his contributions in bridging the gap between technology and its successful use in practice. Andy served as the 1998 President of AIA Atlanta after serving on the AIA Atlanta Board in difference capacities. He earned both his Bachelor of Science (1981) and Master of Architecture (1984) from the Georgia Institute of Technology during which he was inducted into the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society of Architecture and Allied Arts.
