We also use Microsoft Project but find it a rather "thick" program with a lot of variables that which we never use. I think the program has a lot of good features, including tracking manpower, but it is a matter of learning to utilize it and then massaging it to figure which aspects fit the cfirm and which can be left behind. We are still going through this process. As far as tracking manpower, it would be good to have a program which linked to our time keeping and manpower management charting programs. The only link between these now is the project manager's tenacity to keep them all current and consistent. ------------------------------------------- Paul Bielicki AIA Project Architect McCarty Holsaple McCarty Inc. We use Microsoft Project but we are looking for something else to improve the ability to see who is working on each project. ------------------------------------------- Jason Ross Assoc. AIA John Poe Architects Dayton OH -------------------------------------------
